Website

This is what our website looks like at the moment. We have tried to carry the theme of black white and red from the digipack that we had created. This theame gives a more proffessional look as when we had looked at exsiting websites the whole layout is based on the current album of single on sale. This is to encourage sales and alow there fans to reconise the new album or single at a glance and without any effort.
I believe that this theme works although we have decided the website can still do with a few tweeks to make it even better. We plan on adding the music video to the website but to do this we need to finish it first then we can use YouTube to post the video upon the home page.

The current link to our website is www.maisiemae.weebly.com

Creating the Digipack

To create our digipack for Masie Mae we decided to use Adobe Fireworks. The specification says that we can not use any pre existing images so to start off we decided to fins a copyright free image of a pair of glasses. Once we had done this we were then able to use basic shapes that to make our logo for the front cover of the album. We decided to create a logo which had the word nerd in one lense and the word love within a heart within the other lense. therefore making the name of the song from our video and the title of her album.

This is the image that we are using for the front cover of our album. We decided to add the name of the artist aswell just to make the album cover seem more proffessional and so that we could use it on our website when creating a theme across the whole range of products that we are creating.

This is the final layout of the digipack the top row is the oustide of the digipack and the bottom is the inside of the digipack with the section on the right displaying where the cd would be placed if we created a hard copy of it.
